Abstract: Although the subject has deep classical roots, the systematic study of truncated Toeplitz operators for their own sake was only recently spurred by the seminal 2007 paper of Sarason [1]. There are still many problems to be solved and we will focus on the algebraic properties, reducing subspace, unitarily equivalent problems etc. this semester.
