Abstract: In this talk, we will present some new regularized formulations of hyper-singular boundary integral operators associated with the elastic waves in two and three dimensions, and thermal elastic waves in three dimensions. Based on these results, we consider boundary element solutions for the exterior or transmission problems of elastic waves, and elastic waves in open arcs. Numerical examples are presented to verify and validate the theoretical results.
