Title: Simultaneous Colorings of Plane Graphs

Abstract: Given a plane graphG=(V,E,F) , we can define the total coloring for V∪E, the coupled coloring forV∪F, the edge-face coloring forE∪F, and the entire coloring V∪E∪F, such that adjacent or incident elements have different colors. In this talk we shall give a survey on these colorings and list colorings of plane graphs. Some recent results and open problems about this direction are mentioned.
The brief introduction to the reporter: Wang Weifan is a distinguished professor and doctoral tutor of Zhejiang Normal University. He received his Ph.D. from Nanjing University in July 1998 and studied at the Institute of Mathematics, Academia Sinica from January 1999 to December 2000. He has presided over 9 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 2 Zhejiang Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 China-France Advanced Research Program project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, He has published more than 200 papers in "Chinese and foreign academic", "J. Combin. Theory Ser. B", "SIAM. J. Discrete Math.", "J. Graph Theory", "European J. Combin" and other journals.
