报告摘要:We consider the evolution of a dilute plasma or gas, modelled by the space homogeneous Landau equation, with particular emphasis on the monotonicity of Fisher information. Introduced into kinetic equations by McKean, this functional has since been proven monotone along Landau and Boltzmann flows by Guillen-Silvestre and Imbert-Silvestre-Villani, through a refinement of the Bakry-Émery geometric criterion on the real projective space. We will outline the recent results and their extensions to related variants.
