报告摘要：第一讲: This class introduces the core ideas of Elimination Theory with a geometric lens: polynomial ideals, varieties, and how eliminating variables corresponds to projecting onto coordinate subspaces. Gröbner bases serve as the computational tool to extract the equations that survive projection. We emphasize intuition through fibers, images, and dimensions, showing how algebra translates into geometry.

第二讲: In this class, we use elimination techniques to address classical questions about central configurations, focusing on the inverse problem and on finiteness problem.
