报告题目:S^3中曲面的对称

报告摘要:对给定亏格g的可定向闭曲面, 考虑作用在它上面的有限群作用, 其中能扩张到S^3上的有限群作用最大阶记为OE_g. 本报告通过具体的例子简要介绍了对每个具体的g>1, 如何确定OE_g, 并且说明在除去g=21g=481的情况下, 所有的最大阶对称仅由不打结的曲面嵌入实现. 类似地有关于循环群和Abel群作用的讨论.

报告题目:The $q$-log-convexity of Domb's polynomials

报告摘要:In this talk, we prove the $q$-log-convexity of Domb's polynomials, which was conjectured by Sun in the study of Ramanujan-Sato type series for powers of $\pi$.As a result, we obtain the log-convexity of Domb's numbers.Our proof is based on the $q$-log-convexity of Narayana polynomials of type $B$ and a criterion for determining $q$-log-convexity of self-reciprocal polynomials.

报告题目:Finite Element Methods Analysis for the Stochastic Cahn-Hilliard-Cook Equation

报告摘要:This paper is concerned with the finite element approximation  for the stochastic Cahn-Hilliard-Cook equation driven by an infinite dimensional  Wiener process. The Argris finite elements are used to discretize the spatial  variables while  infinite dimensional (cylindrical) Wiener process is approximated by truncated stochastic series spanned by the spectral basis of the covariance operator. The optimal strong convergence order in $L_2$ and $\dot{H}^{-2}$ norms is obtained. Unlike the mixed finite element setting in the existing literature, the covariance operator of the Wiener process is allowed to have an infinite trace. Numerical  experiments are  presented to illustrate the theoretical analysis.

报告题目:Numerical method for stochastic interface grating problem

报告摘要:In this talk, we present an efficient algorithm to solve the stochastic interface grating problems based on a combination of the shape derivatives, the low-rank approximation, and the weak Galerkin method. By using the asymptotic perturbation approach via shape derivative, we estimate the expectation and the variance of the stochastic solution in terms of perturbation magnitude. For the deterministic equations approximating the expectation, we propose the weak Galerkin method to capture highly complex solutions exhibiting oscillations with high resolution near the interface. For the variance, an efficient low-rank approximation based on pivoted Cholesky decomposition is proposed to compute the two-point correlation function to approximate the second moment of stochastic interface grating problem. The numerical experiments verify the efficiency of our algorithms. This is the jointed work with Prof. G. Bao (ZJU),Prof. Y.Z. Cao (UA), and Dr. Y.L. Hao (JLU).

报告题目:几类整数值自回归时间序列的建模及过程控制

报告摘要:本文主要研究几类整数值自回归时间序列的建模及过程控制问题.首先, 针对具有零堆积的自相关计数数据,我们提出一种以零堆积广义幂级数分布为扰动项的一阶混合整数值自回归(ZIMINAR(1)) 过程,证明了该过程是唯一存在的且是严平稳遍历的, 同时给出了过程的概率统计性质,研究了过程的参数估计问题.其次, 我们研究了刻画不含零的自相关计数数据的零截断泊松一阶整数值自回归(ZTPINAR(1)) 过程,得到了该过程的高阶矩、高阶累积量以及过程跳序列的概率统计性质,同时利用联合跳控制图监控过程参数的漂移, 得到较好的监控效果.最后, 针对基于负二项稀疏算子建立的、以几何分布为边际分布的一阶整数值自回归(NGINAR(1)) 过程,我们得到了该过程跳序列的概率统计性质, 并采用三种不同的控制图监控该过程参数的漂移, 同时比较了三种控制图的监控效果.

报告题目:A stable nonconforming finite element on hexahedra

报告摘要A new nonconforming brick element is introduced, which only has 13 degrees of freedom locally and takes  as its shape functions space. The vector-valued version generates, together with a discontinuous  approximation, an inf-sup stable finite element pair of order 2 for the Stokes problem in the energy norm.

报告题目:Invariants of 3-manifolds from Heegaard splittings

报告摘要:The intersecting kernel of a Heegaard splitting $H\cup_S H'$ for a closed orientable 3-manifold $M$ is the subgroup $K=\text{Ker} i_*\cap \text{Ker} {i'}_*$ of $\pi_1 (S)$, where $i:S\hookrightarrow H$ and $i':S\hookrightarrow H'$ are the inclusion maps, and $i_*$ and $i_*'$ are the induced homomorphisms between the corresponding fundamental groups. In the talk, I will explain how to derive some invariants of 3-manifolds from intersecting kernels of their Heegaard splittings. This is a joint work with Fengchun Lei and Jie Wu.

报告题目:A new estimating equation approach for marginal hazard ratio estimation

报告摘要:Clustered failure time data often arise in biomedical studies and a marginal regression modeling approach is often preferred to avoid assumption on the dependence structure within clusters. A novel estimating equation approach is proposed based on a semiparametric marginal proportional hazards model to take the correlation within clusters into account. Different from the traditional marginal method for clustered failure time data, our method explicitly models the correlation structure within clusters by using a pre-specified working correlation matrix. The estimates from the proposed method are proved to be consistent and asymptotically normal. Simulation studies show that the proposed method is more efficient than the existing marginal methods. Finally, the model and the proposed method are applied to a kidney infections study.
