报告摘要:We consider the two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations with density-dependent viscosity coefficient. The density-patch problem considers an initial density which is the indicator function of a bounded domain, and asks whether the boundary regularity persists over time when the density is transported by the fluid flow. The goal of these two talks is to prove this regularity propagation under a suitable smallness assumption on the initial velocity field. The first talk focuses on the incompressible case, and the second talk treats the compressible case.
