报告摘要：We present some interesting methods for the qualitative analysis of elliptic nonlinear PDEs and highlight our related research,focusing on maximum principles,Liouville-type theorems,and solution classifications.Key topics include Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev type systems and curvature-related geometric equations, with recent work on incompressible fluid equations discussed as time allows.

报告人简介：李从明，上海交通大学讲席教授，博士生导师,曾任上海交通大学数学科学学院院长。1982年本科毕业于中国科学技术大学数学系，1985年在中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院获硕士学位，1989年在美国纽约大学柯朗数学研究所获得博士学位，导师是国际数学界分析大师Louis Nirenberg教授。2017年当选美国数学会会士。在几何分析、流体力学、非线性偏微分方程和积分方程（组）及其相关应用领域做出了一系列一流的原创性工作。主要工作发表在国际顶尖期刊PNAS, Ann.of Math, Invent Math, Duke Math.J, CPAM, Adv. Math, JDG上。被引用累计超过5500余次，发表学术专著2部。目前担任《Discrete and Continuous Dynamics, Series A》、《Acta Mathematica Scientia》编委。
