报告摘要:This presentation explores novel benchmarks and coupling methods for fluid-structure interaction (FSI) simulations using isogeometric analysis and spline-based communication, with solid solver G+Smo, fluid solvers OpenFOAM and Waterlily.jl coupled via preCICE, we demonstrate improved efficiency and equivalent accuracy compared to traditional vertex based communication, presenting benchmarks that validate the effectiveness of spline-based methods in complex hydrodynamic simulations.
报告人简介:Jingya Li from Shandong, China, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Colorado State University and her Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Delft University of Technology. She is currently a second-year PhD student at Delft University of Technology, working on the FlexFloat project under the supervision of Dr. Matthias Möller, Dr. Hugo Verhelst, and Dr. Henk den Besten. Her research focuses on the application of isogeometric analysis (IGA) in fluid-structure interactions (FSI) and the development of efficient coupling methods for FSI simulations. She is also, together with Dr. Hugo Verhelst, a main developer of the gsPreCICE module in G+Smo, an adapter module for the preCICE coupling library that enables IGA-based simulations.
