报告摘要: In mathematics, a q-analogue or a quantum analogue, of a mathematical object is a generalization of this object by adding a new parameter q that reduces to the original object as q tends to 1. Sometimes, q-analogues can lead to important mathematical discoveries. A mathematical object often has different types of q-analogues. It is an art to seek a good quantum analogue. In this talk, I will explain the necessity and significance of quantum analogues through examples.
报告人简介：刘治国，华东师范大学数学科学学院教授、博士生导师。英国Sussex大学、新加坡国立大学访问学者。曾获1998年度王宽诚皇家学会奖学金。主要研究领域为椭圆函数论、基本超几何级数理论、量子偏微分方程、数论及天才数学家Ramanujan遗留的一些问题。迄今已发表了70多篇研究论文。
