报告摘要: The 3+1 conjecture on the e-positivity of chromatic symmetric functions of certain graphs has been considered as one of the most interesting conjectures in algebraic combinatorics since its birth in 1993. This talk involves a brief introduction of progress towards some leading problems around this conjecture, as well as some unpublished results of our own on the e-positivity and Schur positivity of trees. I wish to focus on that for spider graphs of 3 legs, which is a boundary and essential case in a 2020 conjecture for the e-positivity of trees.
报告人简介：王国亮，北京理工大学教授、博导，主要研究方向是代数组合学。王国亮2010年毕业于南开大学组合数学中心，后于北京大学和以色列海法大学从事博士后工作，2014年入职北京理工大学，曾访问MIT一年，现主持国家自然科学基金面上项目，与人合作在《中国科学》等发表论文30余篇。
