报告摘要：The amenable problem of Thompson’s group F has a long history over fifty years. In this talk, I will introduce our work on this problem using the theory of Hochschild cohomology. We prove that all derivations on the Banach algebra associated with Thompson’s semigroup are continuous. We also characterize the first Hochschild cohomology group. These conclusions provide positive indications for the amenability of Thompson’s group.
