Abstract: In this talk I first give some introduction to the basic semiconductor physics and then the mathematical modeling of the semiconductor SHE model will be presented. Some recent mathematical analysis results on the SHE model also are introduced.


The brief introduction to the reporter: ZHANG Kaijun is a professor and doctoral tutor of Mathematics and Statistics, Northeast Normal University. He achieved his bachelors, masters and doctorates at Northeast Normal University, Peking University, Institute of Mathematics Chinese Academy of Sciences and the French National Science Center, respectively, in 1983, 1988 and 1999. From 2000 to 2001, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Mathematics, University of Vienna, Austria. Presided over a number of the National Natural Science Foundation, the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Research Key Project and the Ministry of Education Returned Scholarship Fund project. He has been awarded the Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Award, National Outstanding PhD thesis nominated thesis tutor in 2010 and First Mingde Teachers' Award in 2012. His research direction is PDE and Mathematics education.
