Title: Uniqueness of free actions of finite abelian groups on surfaces

Reporter: Prof. Xuezhi Zhao (Capital Normal University)

Time: June 2, 2017(Friday) AM 10:00-11:30

Location: A#1101 room, Innovation Park Building

Abstract: Let $G$ be a finite abelian group. We list all the cases where the conjugacy class of orientation-preserving $G$-actions on a closed surface is unique.

The brief introduction to the reporter: Prof. Xuezhi Zhao is a doctoral tutor of  Mathematics at Capital Normal University. He received a doctorate of science at Peking University in 1998. He majors in topological fixed point theory and low - dimensional topology and has published a number of important academic papers on core journals and international conferences. Prof. Zhang has been invited to attend international academic conferences many times and his research results have gained much focus by domestic and foreign counterparts.
